Offbeat music and conversation with The Isolated Sequence - on The Underworld

Otto from The Isolated Sequence joined Kaley and Mike in the infamous Underworld lair. We were treated to Otto's musings on such topics as former New York governor Elliot Spitzer, leagalized prostitution, legalized Canadian prostitution, and intoxicants of various and dubious legality. As a special, unexpected treat, Otto favored us with a karaoke version of the Humpty Dance - live and unrehearsed.

A quick update on our friend Dave Crisci. For those unfamiliar with his name and situation, Dave is the bassist of local '80s tribute band Decadence. He is essentially paralized from the waiste down due to back problems. He'll walk again, but it's uncertain when that will happen. The friends of Dave Crisci threw a benefit last Saturday to try to help the guy out a bit. In all, it appears that we raised about $5000! Thanks to all who helped and contributed to the cause.

Okay, I know I'm late getting the podcast updated. This episode of The Underworld Radio Show was broadcast on Tuesday, Aug. 21. My apologies to Shot Heard Around the World.

Shot Heard Around the World joined Kaley, Teagan, and Mike in the WSCA 106.1 FM studio as our guests. Here's why Shot Heard Around the World will kick your ass and make your ears bleed: Drums and bass are nice and tight - they give the band a good, solid metal base to build on. Guitars are nice and crunchy with some excellent wailling and shrieking. Finally, vocals range from primal scream to melodious. All together, I give Shot Heard Around the World four out of five skulls, with tons of potential to reach that final, fifth skull.
